Here are some tricks for Megaupload which stops the message "All download slots... assigned to your country are in use..." from appearing while downloading a file from Mega Upload.

Hack for Firefox 2 (Highly Recommended Hack)
Install FireFox
Go to address bar and type about:config
In Filter type general.useragent.extra.firefox and dont click show all
From list doubleclick on general.useragent.extra.firefox and change the default text with Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0
This will do for firefox 2 No need of the following hacks if you are using Firefox 2

Yet another Method
For older versions of FireFox
Download and install the User Agent Switcher extension for FireFox.
Restart the FireFox web browser after installation ended.
Go to Tools -> User Agent Switcher -> Options.
Then click on User Agents and then click on Add.
Key in the following information:
Description: MegaUpload
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Alexa Toolbar)
Exit by clicking on OK twice.
Whenever you want to download from MegaUpload or SexUploader, go to Tools -> User Agent Switcher and select MegaUpload as FireFox’s temporary user agents.
After downloading the files, you may want to switch back to original user agents, by selecting Default.

I left so many comment on the blog of where I got all these tips but no response either...
any suggestion of what I may have done wrong?
After Link Grabber 7r fail to work I googled for a way to once again download from megaupload without their spyware toolbar. I found you a few sites and your trick seem to do the trick. Thanks.
I don't know why, but the trick posted doesn't work. Next time don't use MegaUpload if you don't want to force your visitors to end up with Spyware in their computers.

You can get rid of the limit exceeded msg if you change your ip..if you are using some net with dynamic ip then just switch on and off your modem to change your ip.There are other methods as well.Now clear yor private data(cookies etc) and again try the megaupload link.. this should defenitely work.If it doesnt work at first time then try changing ip again clearing cookies and try the link again

Hey its be again, the user agent thing does work, if u can't get it to work, make sure your not downloading anything from megaupload, coz i did that, then after it finished downloading i tryed it again it worked ^_^
